The community of ninethirtyone grew out of a Bible study that was started in February 2006 with Trinity Lutheran Church and School. The Bible study included the elements of relevant teaching and modern worship music.

Today, ninethirtyone is a worshiping community and the first multi-site of Trinity Lutheran Church and School.

Our identity comes from a story in the 9th chapter in the book of Matthew. The story is about a couple of blind guys who followed Jesus after he had raised a young girl back to life. They were so amazed that they continued to follow him asking for his help. Jesus came to them and asked if they thought he could make them see. They said that they did and then he touched their eyes. They immediately could see. Jesus wasn't ready to be revealed as the Messiah and so he told them not to tell anyone. Their experience with Jesus was so life changing, that they couldn't help but express their new hope and joy with everyone.

Our hope at ninethirtyone is that everyone will experience Jesus in such a way that they cannot contain their excitement.

Breyland - Live @ 931 on Sunday, June 21st!

Jason, the 931 worship leader, will be out of town so we eagerly await our guest worship band!

About the band... In expressive compositions of blues, funk, and rock music, Breyland's tunes emerge from the many places where life and faith intersect. This foursome hales from Houston, Texas – a band of brothers (two of them biological) with a passion for playing music, and the occasional late-night skate down a local parking garage. In early 2008, Breyland recorded a seven-song LP with Mike Thompson of Ivory Tower Productions – also based in Houston, Texas. The project is a mix of driving downbeat rhythms and skillfully understated anthems that move with melody and a message.

act[2] is a brand new group of young adults that will gather together to have fun, eat, relax, talk about God, and be devoted to one another.  It is starting this summer and is led by Tiffany and Lindsay!
